- Private Lessons in Composition
- 2 Choral Lab Reading Sessions, led by respected conductors with experience cultivating new choral music and 8 professional singers
- Public performance and recording of the final version of the composition with combined lab choirs in NYC
- Daily choral ear training hour
- Daily analysis class, focusing on one individual choral work
- Selection of masterclasses from highly respected leaders in the areas of vocal arranging and studio production, choral music history, career-building, and musical styles in choral music composition
Application Requirements:
- Submit a completed application form ($50 application fee, non-refundable) by mail.
- Include 2 recent scores, which you feel best represent your vocal writing (choral, solo, small ensemble etc.)
- 1-2 paragraph proposal of the piece you'd like to write during the CC Institute, including texts you've chosen
- A short statement about why you'd like to participate
