Choral Chameleon Institute: For Conductors

_ Conductors: ($750 Tuition)
  • Private Lessons in Choral Conducting
  • 2 Choral Lab Mock-Rehearsals to work on lesson repertoire (16 singers)
  • Culminating public performance and recording in NYC
  • Daily choral ear training hour
  • Daily analysis class, focusing on one individual choral work
  • Selection of masterclasses from highly respected leaders in the areas of vocal arranging and studio production, choral music history, career-building, and musical styles in choral music composition

Application Requirements:
  • Submit a completed application form ($50 application fee, non-refundable) by mail.
  • Include a representative list of repertoire you have either conducted in performance, or have worked on in lessons / lab choirs
  • 1-2 paragraph statement on what you feel "the conductor's job" is in a choral ensemble
  • A short statement about why you'd like to participate
  • Feel free to include a disc of audio or video recordings of yourself conducting in rehearsal or performance, although this is not required.

DEADLINES:
Postmarked Application with $50 application fee due: No Later than April 2nd
Tuition Deposit ($375) to secure your place in the Institute due: May 4th
Tuition Balance ($375) due: June 1st
