SEASON ONE 2008-2009  
Vince Peterson assembles a prototype group called Choral Chameleon to do a trial concert in NYC
Co-Founder, Katie Zaffrann becomes the Board President 
December: first official concert in NYC at Broadway Presbyterian Church
CC incorporates in New York state and receives its official 501(c) 3 status. 

SEASON TWO 2009-2010
Jeffrey Parola becomes first composer-in-residence.
Concert season is expanded to comprise three concerts instead of two as well as a handful of community workshops and school performances
Group becomes more mobile and goes from 20 singers to 12
CC premieres its first large-scale work, Jeffrey Parola’s Such Beautiful Things, with a libretto by Tony Asaro

SEASON THREE 2010-2011  
CC launches its first Summer Institute for choral conductors and composers at Hunter College in Manhattan
 Joseph Gregorio becomes second composer-in-residence
CC presents The Choir...Electric and premieres 6 works for choir and electronics. Here's 'There Once Was..' by Angelica Negron, which we performed again in 2015.

SEASON FOUR 2011-2012      
CC redefines performance space and presents “Follow Me,” an unprecedented walking concert in Central Park. Here's some nicely skaky footage of us singing 'Strawberry Fields' that someone captured!
CC launches Chameleonic, an avocational choir, further expanding its education outreach
 June Summer Institute vastly expands and welcomes students from across the country for the first time
Music Director Emeritus of the Grammy® Award Winning ensemble, Chanticleer, Matthew Oltman joins Summer Institute faculty

SEASON FIVE 2012-2013      
CC celebrates its Fifth Anniversary with five commissions for choir and string quartet, bringing total world premieres to over 50 works in less than 5 years
Fully staged premiere of Tamar of the River Oratorio, a multi-roomed concert with singer-driven movement and puppetry. Here's some video from rehearsal on YouTube.
Members of CC and Chameleonic appear in upfronts event for The Weather Channel and NYC Oreo® Cookie flashmob
Chameleonic launches its first FREE community outreach concert series, which is live-streamed online
Grammy® Award Winning conductor, Vance George (of The San Francisco Symphony Chorus) joins Summer Institute faculty

SEASON SIX 2013-2014     
Adam Ward (Alto in Chanticleer) is named third composer-in-residence
CC gives an experimental concert called TASTE pairing musical ideas with food flavor profiles designed by rising celebrity chef, Lish Steiling

SEASON SEVEN 2014-2015       
CC joins with Chameleonic and Empire City Men’s Chorus and produces the US Premiere of Roxanna Panufnik’s Dance of Life – Tallinn Mass and debuts at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York City. Watch our 13-minute film about it on YouTube.
Chameleonic appears in The Events, a new choral music-based play, produced by The New York Theater Workshop
CC brings choral music to Williamsburg Brooklyn with STORYTIME II, at Acme Studio, a props warehouse. Watch lots of video from this concert on YouTube. 
CC awarded Chorus America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming

SEASON EIGHT 2015-2016
CC produces its first music video, of STARS by Jeffrey Parola, records Liz Hanna's 'The Story of Jumping Mouse' and appears as guest artist with The Cecilia Concert of New York
Chameleonic singers participate in The Christians, as an evangelical choir, produced by Playwrights Horizons and present a season of concerts thematically dedicated to the ups and downs of life in New York City with a dazzling array of juxtaposed genres
CC experiments with improvising soundtracks to YouTube animal videos in its concert IF I LEFT THE ZOO. Here's one on Instagram.

SEASON NINE 2016-2017
Choral Chameleon now encompasses both ensemble AND chorus presentations, Chameleonic is no more
Chorus singers play the role of a Temperance Choir in Pulitzer-nominated Taylor Mac: A 24-Decade History of Popular Music at St Ann's Warehouse
Rex Isenberg is named fourth composer-in-residence, CC premieres 'Feathers in the Wind', a 'Concerto for Piano and Chorus' and 'The Beautiful'
Ensemble showcases 4 new operas at Opera America's New Opera Showcase at The Town Hall
Chorus and Ensemble enlisted for 3 projects by curators and artists-in-residence at National Sawdust, Brooklyn - Sxip Shirey, Caroline Polachek, R.B. Schlather

SEASON TEN 2017-2018
Group-in-Residence at National Sawdust
Mind Body Spirit Series dedicated to the singer being a whole person: with music, imagery and choreography derived from singers' stories
Ensemble mini-residence at San Francisco Conservatory of Music for Biennial Choral Composition Competition
