Choral Chameleon Chorus presents a powerful diptych of new music commenting on the state of the world and the human condition. In an effort to bring more secular concert music into the repertoire for choir and organ, composer Dale Trumbore was commissioned (as 2018-2019 Composer-In-Residence) to create her incredible, thought-provoking choral painting: a two-movement work, "What Are We Becoming," comprised of poems by Abigail Welhouse and Lynn Ungar. Then, in a 2019 revision of his epic cantata, "Messiahs: False and True," (originally commissioned by Cantori New York), composer Rex Isenberg takes his listeners on a panoramic tour of messianic figures, both sacred and profane, throughout the ages and their powerful influences on massive numbers of people.
